It also shed some weight, coming in at a noticeably lighter 560 grams compared to the PSVR’s 600 grams. The PSVR 2 really looks cool sitting alongside the PS5. Like other PS5 accessories, the design philosophy takes inspiration from the console itself - meaning it sports a sleek white-and-black aesthetic featuring some abstract angles. Having four cameras on the headset also removes the need for an external camera. Users literally have to just plug the earbuds into the PSVR 2’s audio port and the headset itself into the PS5’s USB-C port. Simplicity is the name of the game with the PSVR 2. That’s pretty much it - no processor box, PlayStation camera, power plug or extra HDMI configuration needed.
